We are absolutely delighted that Visit Northumberland has featured Warksburn Old Church in their recent announcement celebrating the region's outstanding success at the 2026 VisitEngland ROSE Awards.
The ROSE Awards (Recognition of Service Excellence) are presented annually by VisitEngland to only 100 accommodation businesses nationally, across all categories from grand hotels to campsites, who consistently deliver exceptional customer service and go above and beyond to create memorable stays for their guests.
In a remarkable achievement for the county, all eight winners in the North East category were from Northumberland. Visit Northumberland highlighted that this clean sweep "showcases the strength and quality of its visitor economy" and "reflects the county's commitment to hospitality excellence."
VisitEngland Director Andrew Stokes praised the winners, stating: "The VisitEngland ROSE Awards showcase the excellent accommodation available across England. They honour the people behind the businesses who go out of their way to provide outstanding customer service, innovative options for all tastes and budgets and a great welcome for visitors."
